SUMMARY

450 laying duck at 29 week old (Cò breed) were collected and randomized in to 3 treatments, 3 pens /treatment, 50 head /pen such as: T1: control diet base on soybean meal as protein source (KPĐC); T2 and T3: to replace 30% and 60% soybean meal with Tra fish by products (PP30 and PP60). Crude protein and amino acids level in diets were the same in all treatments and met the requirements. The parameters recorded were feed intake, laying rate, feed efficiency per 10 egg, mortality, egg quality and feed expense. The results showed that using Tra fish by products to replace soyabean meal in laying decreased almost parameters of laying rate; feed efficiency per 10 egg; egg weight; shell thickness except egg yolk rate, significantly.

Key words: Laying duck, Tra fish, by product.
