SUMMARY
The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of body-weight at 22nd week of age on the reproduction of laying hens Luong Phuong in the practical conditions of South Vietnam. Total of 1,800 pullets at 6th week of age were used for three treatments of controlling body-weight. This study indicated that pullets at 22nd week of age weighed at around 2.171 g in average had the highest egg production (166.8 eggs per hen) during 23 – 68 weeks of age.
