NGUYEN VAN PHU. 2018. Nutritional value of animal feed-stuff materials and digested amino acid optimizing for swine meal. The Institute of Agricultural Sciences for Southern Vietnam
Saturday, 02/02/2019 | 08:34:14

The objectives aim at (1) identifying amino acid components among 25 popular materials for porcine feed-stuff industry in Vietnam; (2) identifying the digestion potential by the amino acids, which include in 25 materials; (3) identifying the industry demand to optimize the feed-stuff. The materials for starch and protein in animal feed-stuff included lower essential amino acids as lysine, threonine, methionine and tryptophan; with low CP of 16% and other essential amino acids exhibited lower than swine demand.

DOAN VINH. 2018. EFFECT OF MYCOTOXIN DEOXYNIVALENOL AND FUMONISIN IN ANIMAL FEED TO PERFORMANCE OF COMMERCIAL PIGS. PhD Thesis Abstract. Institute of Agricultural Sciences for Southern Vietnam; Ho Chi Minh City, VIETNAM
Tuesday, 27/11/2018 | 08:25:09

Study on mycotoxin has been conducted for more than 40 recent years as well as animal husbandry industry. The study aims at (1) evaluating the status and critical levels of DON and FUM, which contaminate maize and commercial feed stock for pig farms in southern Vietnam; (2) impacting to dietary with different amount of DON and FUM to perform commercial pigs; (3) assessing the effect absorbent substances using to treat contaminated feed or feedstuffs.

Trần Văn Lợt. 2018. Rice Breeding for Heat Tolerance via Marker-assisted Selection in Mekong Delta. PhD Thesis Abstract. Institute of Agricultural Sciences For Southern Vietnam (IAS). Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Monday, 05/11/2018 | 08:43:00

The study was conducted from 2011 to 2016 at Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding - Cuu Long Delta Rice Research Institute and five rice-producing provinces in the Mekong Delta viz. Long An, Hau Giang, Can Tho, An Giang and Tra Vinh. The study aims at (a) determining breeding materials to develop new genotypes adapted to heat tolerance due to climate change; (b) determining elite progenies from backsrossing populations via molecular markers-assisted selection with recurrent parent AS996 and donor N22.

VU THI QUYEN. 2018. Study on nutritional element effects and plant growth regulators affecting to yield and quality of Dendrobium Sonia orchid at productive stage. PhD Thesis Abstract. The Institute of Agricultural Sciences for Southern Vietnam
Tuesday, 16/10/2018 | 14:40:53

Dendrobium Sonia (D. Sonia) is the cut-flower orchid commonly grown in Ho Chi Minh city. The study aims at to improve the fertilizer management to enhance Dendrobium Sonia obtaining more economic value. In particular, how (i) to determine the effect of P, Ca and boron B on growth and flowering;

Nguyen Xuan Dung. 2017. Orchid Breeding To Improve The Dendrobium Resistance To Cymbidium Mosaic Virus VIA Rnai – Assessment of Technical Efficiency . PhD Thesis. Institute of Agricultural Sciences for Southern Vietnam.
Wednesday, 10/01/2018 | 11:42:44

Dendrobium is a major orchid species growing in Vietnam farms. Two viruses CyMV (Cymbidium mosaic virus) and ORSV (Ondotoglossum rinspot virus) have become severe damages to orchids. However, the infection to Dendrobium by CyMV in Ho Chi Minh City offered 67.5% more severely than ORSV. Variety Sonia’ s PLDs were successfully transformed via Agrobacterium tumefaciens – mediated with strain C58 (EHẠ and LBA4404).

Bùi Văn Thế Vinh. 2016. Studying somatic embryogenesis of “Sam Ngoc Linh” (Panax vietnamensis Ha et Grushv.) to facilitate the micropropagation. PhD Thesis. The Institute of Agricultural Sciences for Southern Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh City, VIETNAM
Friday, 21/04/2017 | 07:59:05

Panax  vietnamensis  Ha  et  Grushv.) is a specific and precious Panax in Vietnam with high economic pharmaceutical value.Embryo numbers by callus treatment, which derived from tubers exhibited higher volume than from leaves. The SH medium was observed to be more suitable to the formation of calli in which embrygenesis taking place potentially. Otherwise, the MS medium became better to be sensitive in case of embryogenesis from Ngoc Linh panax leaf calli.

Do Dang Giap. 2017. Studying somatic embryogenesis from thin cell layer culture of Jatropha curcas L.) and applying micropropagation. PhD Thesis. The Institute of Agricultural Sciences for Southern Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh City, VIETNAM
Friday, 21/04/2017 | 07:57:37

Somatic embryogenesis from thin cell layer culture has been successfully conducted from jatropha leaves (Jatropha curcas L.). The MS medium, which was added by 0.5 mg/L of 2,4 D was obtained the best effectiveness to induce calli. The combination between 2,4 D and KIN was noticed to help somatic embryos create calli of jatropha.

Vu Quoc Luan. 2016. Optimizing the regeneration frequency in micropropagation of Paphiopedium sp. PhD Thesis. The Institute of Agricultural Sciences for Southern Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh City, VIETNAM
Friday, 21/04/2017 | 07:56:11

The percentage of regenerants by Paphiopedium landraces viz. Van Hai, Lan Hai Hong and Lan Tam Dao obtained 22.40, 24.85 and 17.15 %, respectively under the SH medium plus 1.0 mg/L of TDZ, 0.3 mg/L of NAA, 9 g/L of agar and 30 g/L of sucrose at pH of 5.8

HOANG DINH DINH. 2016. DETECTION AND MANAGEMENT OF SEED-BORN MICROFLORA ORYZA SATIVA L. PhD. Thesis. University of Dr. Panjabrao Desmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth Akola; MARAHATRA State, India
Monday, 29/02/2016 | 11:02:50

Microorganisms play an important role in causing the damages on rice plant and affecting the quality of seed, of which fungi account for the largest group. More than 80 fungi including about 20 species of pathogens were detected from the rice seeds such as Bakanae and foot rot (Fusarium moniliforme, Sheld); Sheath rot (Sarocladium oryzae, Swada W. & D. Hawksw); Brown spot (Bipolaris oryzae, Shoem),

  1. Constitutively expressed ERF-VII transcription factors redundantly activate the coreanaerobic response in Arabidopsis thaliana

Abstract:

Plant adaptation to hypoxic conditions is mediated by the transcriptional activation of genes involved in the metabolic reprogramming of plant cells to cope with reduced oxygen availability

Evaluation of rice germplasm for viruses transmitted by brown plant hoppers (Nilaparvata lugens Stål) and genetic mapping of resistance genes (PhD Thesis: Dang Minh Tam, Email: minhtamdang78@gmail.com)
Tuesday, 03/03/2015 | 10:39:53

Rice ragged stunt virus (RRSV) and rice grassy stunt virus (RGSV) have been causing serious damages to rice production in Southeast Asian countries. RRSV and RGSV are transmitted by the brown planthopper vector (Delphacidae: Nilaparvata lugens).
